For a significant anniversary, Koinonia Academy wanted to highlight some raw and authentic videos gathered from alumni around the world.
Combining footage filmed onsite at the school as well as the cellphone videos we received from alumni, we were able to create a special moment for everyone attending their gala, as well as to demonstrate what’s possible with “low-fi” footage.

Grain of Wheat was happy to act as the primary producer and filmmaker for St Paul’s Outreach’s 2021 Northeast Banquet. Filming involved travel to campuses throughout the North East. Editing was completed by Connor Flanagan of St Paul’s Outreach.
I had the pleasure of overseeing the creation of an entire pre-recorded gala, acting as the primary filmmaker, producer, editor, and director. This involved the creation of nine standalone videos to showcase different elements of the school and to highlight the achievements of three separate honorees. Additionally, we filmed a number of “emcee” moments to tie everything together, as well as a final ask and montages to encourage viewer donations.
